I am always looking for new company's to promote not because I want free stuff or get money but rather to help promote that company's product. I believe that young anglers like me have the opportunity to sell lots of fishing products if just given the chance to succeed. I honestly believe that I can help make a company's sells increase by promoting their product at weigh-ins, and wherever else I may go as I travel across my state fishing tournaments.
Have you ever counted the cars or "potential customers" that you pass going down the road? Well I figured it up one day and found out that I pass approx. 2,200 cars on a trip to Guntersville and that's just 1 way. Now take into consideration that some cars are going to have more than 1 person. That's a lot of people! Ok, now what do you notice more? A truck and boat passing right next to you or a billboard that's 100 yards off the side of the road? This is the reason that people sponsor fishermen! The marketing for a company is amazing when you put a sticker on a boat or truck or give a fisherman your product to try. One of my last tournaments had hundreds in attendance.
